Do people still use Hiren's BootCD?

Hello, I was a former person in the IT realm a few year back and used other live cd's often to help me with rather difficult issues with windows. But I never have used Hiren's, it seemed rather recommended 2 years ago which is when the last update seemed to be out. But my question is does the program update the virus definitions and etc, so that it would be useful to run those scans on a computer today? Any info is greatly appreciated. As a side note any other good live-cd type software recommendations would be welcome.
