I'm sorry for clogging the subreddit, but I need to post this again, since my previous post on this was removed because I accidentally posted direct link to hosting site instead of putting it behind pastebin and reddit's automatic filter decided to nuke the topic's main post. Apologies for any confusion and inconveniences it caused.

Below is reposted topic with link to updated and playable client. This time, I will link to folder in which I'll put new version of the translation, so there will be no need to swap links in this topic or repost it again and you can bookmark the link to the hosting file and download the update when the client will show 'version mismatch' prompt.

I will no longer provide translations for the updates. See note file on my internet drive with download for more information.

Even though Link Monsters and new rules aren't currently present in most popular YGOPro clients such as Percy or any official Konami game, they can be played online in automated mode on PC thanks to modded beta version of YGOCORE created by Chinese developer - Mercury223, whose site related to the project can be found here. Although it's not developed in English, after many inconveniences I managed to get it into playable state and translate the client and cards into English using resources from YGOPro Percy and spice of google translate magic.

Getting the client

I've prepared already translated and playable version that's ready to be launched and played (although you might need to download the update first). Download links can be found here.

But if you want to download the clean and untranslated version, you can follow these instructions that are also on Mercury233's site in Chinese:

1. Go to their distribution site and navigate through the file tree to download unmodified YGOCORE. (Screenshot with instruction)

2. On linked host site, click these buttons to download the program.

3. Go to Mercury's233 download page and download modified YGOCORE launcher and card files/configurations in one archive. (Screenshot)

4. Unpack YGOCORE on your hard drive and then files from Mercury233's package in the same folder. Game is launched by ygopro_test.exe, otherwise it won't read Link Monsters properly.

In case the application would need update, repeat step 3. I should also prepare another translated package when that happens.

Playing using the client and connecting to the server

My ready package is already configured to connect Mercury233's server at IP address of 118.178.111.167 and port 23333, so you can make deck, change your nickname and duel. It can be also played locally, in this case just launch client twice or on another PC that's connected to your local network.

Please note that this is a Chinese server and most players don't talk in English.
Also, the server punishes leaving game before the duel is concluded. You cannot surrender early in a duel and leaving the duel by crashing the client is punished (although I wasn't eager on checking how exactly).
Remember that card search is case sensitive.
There's only OCG banlist, so remember to put Harpie's Feather Duster into everything.

If played locally, all previous rulesets up to Master Rule 4 are available. If using Master Rule 3 and older, you will still be able to use Link Monsters, but Extra Monster Zones are inactive and not required, so old Extra Deck/Pendulum Monsters work like they usually did, while some of Link Monsters cannot have full use of their effects (because for example: they rely on having opponent's monsters linked to them, which is impossible because they cannot be in Extra Monster Zone).

Beware that the client is just in beta and there's a number of bugs. They can be game breaking, but usually aren't. However, remember that in Master Rule 4, you cannot summon monsters from Extra Deck if you don't have free Extra Monster Zone/Linked Zones and sometimes the game will act like you can do so, then lose your materials or fail the summon. Also some new cards have bugged effects, although they're mostly minor things.

Some translations/cards might be missing. If you'll find such issue, tell me what's missing and if it's a card, make sure that you have newest version of the translation and if you do, send me Card Name and Card ID of such card and I'll update the translation files later on.

Antivirus scan

There's only one .exe file necessary for modded YGOCORE to work. Rest is images, card scripts and SQLite databases. Whole thing isn't malicious and my PC haven't exploded.
In case you're worried, here is Mercury233's launcher from 12/04/2017 update scanned by 61 antivirus programs.

Acknowledgement

The client is open-source YGOCORE modded by Mercury233. I have used bunch of English card images and some files from YGOPro Percy, then added my corrections in order to have it translated.
